I carry this with USB cords instead of all my bulky chargers. Its great to have a surge protector with you in a hotel room instead of hoping your charging computer or phone wont get fried as you sleep. Its also great in an airport as you can never seem to find an open outlet.

Multiple Charger/Protector

Pros: works horizontal and vertical, multiple phone charging cabability

I like this charger because I do need a surge protector for my Droid while its charging. I also have my husbands and sons phones (other phone models - not Droids) charging on it at the same time, too. It does double duty rather than just plugging in a standard wall charger. Another plus is when we travel, it is convenient to charge all at the same time as well. I dont have 3 phones around the hotel room in different plugs.

The product itself is great, the problem is manufacturers who have change the orientation of the prongs on their chargers.
While the have reduced the size of the adapter changing the orientation of the prongs restricts the adapter use.

Perhaps rotatable outlets but then Im dreaming
