The description of this item is misleading. This item IS NOT "technically" compatible with the iPhone 3G however it does work. Because of the iPhone thinking the TuneCast is not compatible you have to answer a prompt on the phone when you plug it into the phone. The iPhone wants you to go into airplane mode however you dont need to do that. I was able to make calls and use the ipod feature on my radio without problems so far.

Stating it is designed for the 3G is a bit misleading.
