Product Description

The Rugged BlueAnt T1 Bluetooth Headset is a durable, reliable Bluetooth device that has been designed to give high quality audio in the most challenging conditions.

The T1 is the first BlueAnt headset to feature Wind Armour Technology™

Developed over the course of years of research into wind noise performance, this solution combines patent-pending design features with BlueAnt's proprietary noise cancellation software to deliver clear audio in wind speeds up to 22 mph, the best wind noise reduction of any Bluetooth headset on the market.

The T1 has also been designed to be highly durable. In addition to the sturdy earpiece, the T1 features removable and interchangeable patent-pending, soft-touch silicon covers that protect and cushion the headset from minor bumps and accidental impact and enable the T1 to withstand the onslaught of everyday dust and moisture.

The T1 is the first Bluetooth headset to offer caller name announce, so you will always know who is calling because the T1 will read out the name of the incoming caller.

Responding to the call is as easy as saying the words Answer or Ignore, leaving you hands free to focus on the task at hand.

The T1 also offers A2DP for streaming audio of podcasts and turn-by-turn directions from GPS applications on your mobile phone.

Features:

  • Intelligible audio at wind speeds up to 22mph
  • Dual microphones and Voice Isolation Technology
  • Outstanding noise, wind and echo cancellation
  • Lightweight
  • Flexible ear hooks, with small, medium and large ear buds
  • A2DP streaming for listening to music, podcasts, and turn by turn directions from a GPS application on your phone
  • Automatic connection and reconnection with notification
  • Incoming caller name announce (Text to Speech)
  • Stores up to 2,000 contact per paired device

Universal Compatibility: Works with any Bluetooth enabled cellphone or smartphone.

StarStarStarStarStar Great Bluetooth
User: Mark Robinson, Jan 5, 2011

Pros:  Small, fits ear comfortably, good battery life, voice answering
Cons:  No voice commands with the iPhone4

It downloaded my contacts and announces who is calling and then asks if I want to accept or not. I had trouble with another Bluetooth staying in my ear but the T1 is great. Its a great buy in my book.
StarStarStarStarStar Very Nice Headset
User: Charles Bryant, Oct 1, 2010

Pros:  Wind Armor technology, multiple ear cushions, name/number announcement, upgradable software.
Cons:  software is somewhat buggy when pairing with HTC Hero.

This is a very nice headset. Ive had many headsets in the past, this one is 2nd runner up to Plantronics when it comes to ear comfort. But it is definitely 1st place for technology, durability and microphone performance. As for as the guy who stated that his conversation with his headset goes,

("What????" "What did you say?" "Im sorry, your phone just cut out."
"Thats much better" is what I hear when I turn it off.")

Either you got the bad one out of the bunch, you dont know how to properly wear it, youve damaged it in some way, or somethings stuck in your mic. Anyway, The technology is there and it is a Great device!!! Try it and you should love it!!!
StarStarStarStarStar Peice of crap
User: tim morgan, Jan 24, 2011

Pros:  how in fits in the ear, when works text rear back, and phone book

StarStarStarStarStar Pathetic
User: Perez T, Jan 19, 2011

Pros:  Says name of person calling and can read texts with Android app.
Cons:  No one was ever able to clearly hear me, and when I was heard, the volume was too low.

Save your money. Buy Jabra or Plantronics (which works 10x better). Blueant support was not helpful and took DAYS to even get back to me.
