The Best Bluetooth speakerphone yet
User: Matt Armani, Jul 9, 2009
Pros: Music and Callers voices are load and clear, the built in speaker is loud and clear, and I am heard fine by others
Cons: Cannot voice dial or skip tracks, but that is a Iphone 3gs problem
I have used one after another as these units become avaliable, I have never been please with the built in speaker or fm transmitter sound quality.
I took a shot and bought this unit at bestbuy 99.00.
To my suprise the sound level and quality though the built in speaker is loud and clear, I called everyone in my contacts and they all could hear me loud and clear.
The sound and lack of static when playing music through the fm transmitter was a very pleasant supprise, way above and beyond anything I have heard before, I drove around all day on the same fm channel with no problems with the signal.
I cant say enough about this unit, I am very happy motorola got it right.
Now if apple would only make it so the Iphone 3g, 3gs can use the voice dial feature of these bluetooth units I will be totaly satisfied..

Loved this for almost a year.

Pros: Works excellently well for both music and taking calls.
Cons: No line-in option. Could connect faster.
I will keep this short. I love this little device, it looks good attached to the visor in my car, and it gets the job done. Connecting directly through bluetooth eliminates much of the signal interferance that comes from using a wire to connect to most other FM transmitters. You get to hear your music much more clearly, with less worry about signal-to-noise issues.
My biggest grip is not about the item itself, but about how much it is being sold for here. I originally purchased mine for my OG Droid and now enjoy it with my Galaxy Nexus. It is the exact same model, but this is listed at a much higher price than what I paid for it. I bought mine for about $28, new and shipped free to my doorstep. To be fair, I wont say where, but it is NOT hard to find at that price. I hope that helps any potential buyers.

Pretty Good / Decent Value

Pros: Ease of Use, Unlimited Frequencies
Cons: Seems to have lost transmission strength a little
I bought this hands-free device almost a year ago. I have been very satisfied with it so far. It has certainly lived up to the $130 I paid for it at the time.
Initial setup was simple. I probably couldve even figured it out without cinsulting the manual.
It has six buttons: Front: Talk, and play/pause. Sides: Two buttons to skip up or down through music playlist. Back: Bluetooth conection, and FM connection. Most have multi-function capabilities.
With one touch it will search for the next best frequency and announces it twice. Call and music sound quality is good. Voice (outgoing) quality is good as long as one realizes that it is still a speakerphone and the conversation needs to be controlled to account for the slight delay. Obviously everyone in the vehicle can hear the call well, and the microphone will pick up clear conversation from anywhere in the vehicle.
It will stay on for about half an hour, so jumping in a out of the vehicle for errands is no problem as far as dis/re-connecting.
Personally, I connect every time I get into the vehicle. I will usually have a music playlist going, but can turn off the FM transmitter with a "long press" of the FM button to listen to the regular vehicle radio. This still leaves the speaker enabled, both for calls and music. Switching between music and calls is seamless, but that may be the mobile device more than the handsfree.
Something I have done on occasion is play music for a bonfire or tailgating party. This works well, except that the Bluetooth and FM range is probably only about 25 yards.
All in all, its a great device even thouth it is old. It could be a great value.
