StarStarStarStarStar Great product
User: Aaron Buckley, Jan 13, 2010

Pros:  Wireless, quick charging, well built
Cons:  No Zune adapter, requires purchasing special batteries & powercubes for additional devices

I received one of these for Christmas and I love it.

To get the best experience, you need to purchase one of the special batteries for select devices (Blackberry, nDS, etc). When you have a special battery, all you need to do is walk into the room with the powermat, place it on the mat, and it charges.

If you have any of the hundreds of other devices that the "powercube" has attachments for, it gets a little less convenient but still awesome: You place the cube on the powermat, attach whichever attachment you need to the cube, and then plug your device in.

I was let down when I noticed that there is no Zune charger for the powercube, but otherwise all of my other electronics work in some form with the cube via attachments. When I get a newer WM phone, Ill be tracking down and purchasing one of the batteries for it.

Overall, a very cool and useful product!
StarStarStarStarStar Overcomes the frail power cord connection
User: John Klein, Jun 16, 2011

Pros:  Freedom from the plug in charger and the connection problems that can occur with extended use.
Cons:  Takes a few shots to place it on the "sweet spot" Adds some thickness to the device (back panel)

Overall I love it. You will need a back cover that is specific to your device, and it does add some thickness and weight to the phone.

I have had a lot of problems with the standared charger connection to the phone. I think using a car charger, the phone is not always in great position, and the connection gradually become poor. Have to "jiggle it" to get it to charge.

Using this device, you never make a hard connection. One charge over night and you are good all day just like a conventional charger.

Does have a rather obnoxious "zipping sound" when the phone is place on the pad. Otherwise great

Very conveinent .
StarStarStarStarStar 4 out of 5 stars
User: Corey Davis, Jan 8, 2010

Pros:  Sleek, Built Nicely, Long..but thin
Cons:  Should come with a choice of a case versus the power cube

Very great product. My only issue is that I think their should be different kits. In my area, all the ones I found came with the power cube. Its nice, but you still have to unplug the cube in order to use it unless you dont mind the cube hanging down from the phone (again, my personal thoughts). Charges fast. The cube does offer the adaptors so that you can charge a wide variety of electronics. I have this and the charging pod and I seem to use the pod more due to ease of use. 4 out of 5 stars. Would be 5 if you didnt have to pay another $30 for a charging cover.
StarStarStarStarStar Pointless
User: Josh w, Feb 7, 2012

Pros:  None
Cons:  Still have to plug in an adapter

Technically theres still a wire that you have to plug in. im looking for a wireless charging pad like there is for other phones or like the charging pad for the wii controllers where you just set the device down on it without having to plug anything in.
StarStarStarStarStar will not work on tab 10.1
User: Arn Boonstra, Jun 16, 2011

Pros:  idea is top
Cons:  cannot be connected to tab 10.1

Charging the 10.1 requires a connector that the mat will not include. besides that it requires a full 2000mA to charge, sth the mat cant either
StarStarStarStarStar crap
User: Richard Rudnicki, Jan 18, 2011

Pros:  convenient if it worked
Cons:  convenient if it worked

Returned twice still not working. Connector from backing doesnt connect tightly enough.
StarStarStarStarStar Deceptive Advertising
User: M. Holman, Jan 5, 2011

Pros:  Nice Packaging
Cons:  Not Wirless with Blackberry Torch

I have the powermat and it does not have a receiver for the Blackberry Torch available. You have to use a cord to connect to the mat with the Blackberry Torch. This Blackberry model should not be listed with a product that promotes "Revolutionary new way to charge your favorite devices without the tangle of wires". It states right on the name of the box "Powermat Wireless Charging".
It should say beware of deceptive selling.

StarStarStarStarStar Yeah this is gonna be so cool..wait what is this????
User: Rob R, Nov 12, 2010

Pros:  Nice look,
Cons:  Box is so decieving

First off, wen you get it. you expect a completely wireless device. Its marketed as such, with get rid of the cords but its not. It jus looks cluttered. The completely wireless pad is an EXTRA 30 for the sensor. To make matters worse you buy this pad which has an option for 3 devices, but only comes with 1 adpator. For the rest of them you have to spend and ADDITIONAL 30.00 EACH and the wireless ones are more. For some reason the adapter to the charger doesnt work for my phone. Bought and will be returned asap.
